CSA-Approved Doc Martens in Ottawa

Where can I find CSA approved steel-toed Doc Martens in Ottawa, ON?

Or, at the very least, somewhere in Canada that doesn't charge me almost the cost of a second pair of boots between shipping and brokerage?

I remember a store somewhere in downtown Ottawa that carried a bunch of styles but can't remember the name, or where downtown it is, which makes things a bit difficult! I AM aware of Rock Junction and am trying to contact them however I'm inclined to think that they don't carry the heavy-duty workboot Docs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Best answer: Are you thinking of Lou's Boot Corner? It's in the Market, at 61 William St. I have no idea if it has them, but I'd say there's a good chance!

Apple Saddlery used to carry the full line of Docs, but they've really cut their selection back in the past few years. Green triangle Docs aren't showing up on their website, but they would be worth calling to check.

Store downtown that carried a bunch of styles was maybe Neon, at 60 George, but they're pretty fashiony so I wouldn't expect to see CSA Docs there either.

And the store finder doesn't show anyone selling industrial Docs in Ottawa at all, all just fashion line. Looks like the closest is Montreal (a couple of boutiques on Rue St. Denis).

Response by poster: Thanks, sabotagerabbit, that was the place I was thinking of.

Thanks to all for the suggestions! This will come in handy if the Docs don't hold up as well as we're hoping. I did get through to Rock Junction later in the afternoon and not only did they carry them, but they were on sale.
