Searching for Vintage Safety Pin

I'm looking for a large vintage safety pin in NYC

I've been looking everywhere for a vintage, or old, large safety pin. Similar to this

online is great, if anyone knows of a place in NYC that would be even better.

Looks like your link didn't make it, but if you're looking for a kilt pin, I've seen them at almost every vintage clothing store I've ever been to.

My dad used to use one of these pins for his military duffel bag when he went to sea. It was military issued so you might be able to find one at an army navy store.

Yeah, I'd call the one on the left a kilt pin. Googling led to this supply store, although those ones are new.

You may be able to find them sold as diaper pins... try baby stores, especially more "green" ones into cloth diaper setups...

The 383 pin reminds me of pins that served as basket check receipt at public swimming pools, back in the day.

"Laundry pin" and "diaper pin" are actually going to get you what you want more than "kilt pin"--a kilt pin, technically, doesn't have a shield enclosing the top bit.

"Kilt pin" here in the US haberdashery sense, not in the sense of the pins Scotsmen actually wear on their kilts.
