Suggestions for a lower-cost female therapist in NYC?
Asking for a friend. In their words: "I really want someone younger, preferably a woman, although a man might be okay, for anxiety. Price range $60 or less, sliding fee."

I recommend Margaret Schiliro. She does have a sliding scale, though I'm not sure what the price range is. A friend without insurance is currently seeing her, and I saw her myself for nearly two years and can wholeheartedly recommend her.

I can recommend Barrie Rosen. She's great, fits the description and charges on a sliding scale.
