What cartoon is this? (approx 10 years ago I think)
Okay I have a very vague idea on how this cartoon is.
All I can remember its purple (definitely not barney) and has I think a few hands.. Might be an octopus.
If you guys can post me a few suggestions that would be really great.
Been cracking my head for quite some time.

Response by poster: nope its not.. the graphic isnt that good. its more like tom and jerry graphics back then...
i kept on thinking the name is bogus. However when i googled bogus, its a totally different cartoon. >.<

Can you give any more hints? Nickelodeon, PBS, or some other network? Basic cable or broadcast? Saturday morning, after school, or prime time? Feature length or episodic? One time or recurring?
I assume you mean cartoon like "The Simpsons" (i.e. animation) and not like "Calvin and Hobbes" (comic strip) or like "Archie" (comic book)

It sounds like Grimace. He originally had four hands. Now he inexplicably has two.

Response by poster: Thanks for all the replies. I looked at all of them and it's not any of em.
It's animated .. Feels like Tom and Jerry graphic like. I think it's half an hour.. I watched it on national tv (in Malaysia) .. He SHOULD be a purple alien that has few hands..and I believe they can extend .. He lives in a house if I am not mistaken.
