Can you reccomend a great vascular doctor in New York City?

I know you are NMD, but can you help me find a good one? I have a venous malformation that I've had for years, and have tried various treatments without much success, so I need a new doc. Any suggestions for a really good vascular doctor in NYC?

I should say that he is a surgeon... so not sure it that exactly meets your needs or not.

While I'm not in NYC, I can tell you it took me about 4 doctors to find a good one in my specialty in the Dallas area. I started with the one who was voted "Best Doctor" in D Magazine and he was an ass.

You might want to check the Google reviews for doctors and the healthgrades.com type of sites for help, but you might have to try a few doctors before you find one you like.

Response by poster: Dr. Rosen sounds great, thanks! And thanks for the other advice getawaysticks... I guess it's a trial and error kind of process.

Response by poster: I'm updating this thread in case anyone searches for this at some point in the future. Dr. Rosen wasn't quite right, but he referred me to Dr. Milton Waner at the Vascular Birthmark Institute, and he seems to be exactly who I was looking for. Fingers crossed....
