Dude, where's my income?

I was really happy with the MoneyBook app for iPhone, but since one of the later updates I suddenly don't have the ability to add income! What do I do to fix this, and if unfixable, what are the most similar alternatives to MoneyBook?
Income used to have one or two categories - now there is no category at all under the header "income", and nothing I have clicked there so far lets me add something as an income. It automatically adds everything new as an expense!
What's more, entries I had previously listed as an income are still "green", but go "red" as soon as I open them and click somewhere in the "income field".
What's going on? Am I missing something really obvious and doltish? Can I fix this?
If not, what alternatives are there to MoneyBook? (I really used to love this app!)

Have you contacted the developers? If anyone would be able to tell you what happened, it would be them.

Mint doesn't work in Australia.
I recently started using MoneyWell. It's got a really nice iPhone app that syncs with it. I like the fact that I have all my data and it's not stored on a third-party's server. The whole "bucket/envelope" system of budgeting took me a while to get my head around, but now I love it. Highly recommended.
(Note: MoneyWell doesn't sync with Australian banks yet either. But it does support having multiple currencies.)

Response by poster: Thanks for the suggestions.
xil, I contacted them now but I wanted to make sure this wasn't something wellknown.
web-goddess, I don't actually need something that syncs with my bank (I suspect most apps wouldn't at this point). The simpler the better, I just want to keep basic track of my spendings with no need to be 100 percent exact.
