Can my wordpress blog work in sync with my wesbite?

Can I have the headlines from my wordpress blog show up on my website?

My label site is www.playtheassassin.com
I have a link that goes to my wordpress blog, for all the 'latest news'. (www.playtheassassin.wordpress.com)

I'd like to put a little section on the main page of my site, that will continually rotate the 3-4 most recent headlines from my wordpress blog, that are click-able to bring you directly to the blog....

Is this possible? My web girl has not seen it done and thinks that wordpress isn't flexible enough to do this?

If it isn't, can anyone recommend either a different blogging service that may allow me to accomplish this?

thanks

You could use the RSS feed to show the headlines and link back to the articles.

Feed2JS will take any RSS feed and make a nice little boxy widgety bit of code easily embedded into your webpage. Simple and customizable, should do exactly what you describe.
