Wilmington, Delaware restaurant open sunday nights?

Is there a good restaurant in Wilmington Delaware open late Sunday nights?

I'm going to be picking up a client at Philly Airport at 8:30pm Sunday night & we're headed to Dover Delaware via Wilmington. Am I going to be able to catch a late business-entertainment dinner in Wilmington Sunday night? I've passed through Wilmington one time, otherwise it's a complete unknown quantity.

Thanks very much!

It's been 7 years since I lived in Wilmington, so I can't be a ton of help... But, last time I was there to visit, I went to Public House. It seemed like a perfect place for a business/entertainment dinner and it's open on Sunday nights.

Restaurant 821 - across the street from Public House - is a good choice too, if it's still open. I have this nagging vague memory that it went out of business.

Response by poster: Thanks for both! Looks like Restaurant 821 is closed, but these two points of reference are a big help.

If you see any other places online that look promising, feel free to run them past me - I may have been there, or if not, I can ask a friend.

Never mind the terrible, terrible website, Pomodoro's is quality Italian food. Generally, you're better off sticking with a restaurant in Little Italy or anything in downtown Wilmington proper.

If you're willing to go a little out of your way, this is the best restaurant in northern Delaware.

I don't think any of the places anybody has mentioned except Public House are open past 9 PM on Sunday. If you aren't picking the person up at the airport until 8:30 you may very well not make it to Wilmington by 9.

The restaurants at the Waterfront might be open later because they are more nightlife http://www.riverfrontwilm.com/dining-nightlife/. I have to confess I've never eaten at any of them. They would be pretty easy to get to from I95 though.

Response by poster: Well that was anticlimactic. The client didn't get in until almost 10 eating at a casino in Dover :-)

Thanks much for all of the help -
