Amazon already gets all of my book budget, they don't need all my lab's money too.

Looking for automation to monitor and control Amazon Web Service usage costs.
My lab is moving towards using AWS for some of its computational needs. It's clear that really expensive mistakes are possible. I'm looking for automation which will warn you when AWS usage exceeds a certain burn-rate or absolute price. Ideally, it would shut the usage down automatically in some circumstances. Looks like someone asked about this about six months ago, but it seems worthwhile to ask again, because it's a fast-moving domain.
