Please help me find Beta tape boxes
OK, I work in a commercial dubbing facility. We make lots of beta tape dubs. (Consumers, don't laugh, it's the industry standard)
We used to package the tapes in cardboard sleeves/boxes. That way the tape only required one label, and it was smaller/easier to ship.
However, the company we bought them from (United Ad label) stopped making them, and now we're stuck.
I've looked around, but no one seems to have this specific sleeve.
I'm hoping that maybe someone on here is familiar with tape stock and can help me find what I need.

Even worser-case scenario: use VHS boxes. Since you probably know that there is more than one kind of "beta," are these BetaMax sized or big Betacam tapes?

You should be able to find several places locally that can produce custom cardboard sleeves/boxes to your exact specifications.

Talk to some of your local TV stations... we dump a ton of beta tapes (plastic cases and all) from our archives all the time. We're making the transition to server-based playback and editing, but it seems like there's still piles and piles of tapes everywhere I look at our stations. You could probably work out some kind of trade-in-kind for the cases, if they don't just give them to you for free.

You may want to also check with your local cable TV provider. Ours has a production facility that does local coverage, and they go through a lot of beta tapes and cases.
