Looking for a standing globe in the Boston area

A friend is looking to buy a floor-standing globe (something kind of like this). They're not hard to find online, but she'd prefer to see one in person before buying. Does anyone know of a store in the Boston area that carries such globes?

I'd check the Globe Corner Bookstore and Levenger. Call first.

I've never been, but it strikes me that this is something that the Mapparium might have.

Globe Corner in Harvard Square definitely has them (although as ocherdraco notes, calling ahead is always smart).

Joseph Van Benten Furniture Makers on Route 9/Boylston in Chestnut Hill has them in the window. Bet they're incredibly expensive, though. The site shows three kinds of globe stands under the "specialties" link.

The Coop will not have this. It is essentially a Barnes and Noble.

Response by poster: Thanks for all of the ideas so far! I don't remember ever seeing globes in the Globe Corner before, but then again I wasn't really looking. I'll post updates if any of these places has a suitable globe.
