MakerFilter: Please recommend your favourite UK laser cutting service

I'd like to buy some laser-cut and engraved 8mm acrylic - I can design in whatever package is best. If you've got some word-of-mouth recommendations I'd love to hear.

Best answer: I've used Ponoko and was very happy with them. Not UK based, but will ship here (from New Zealand or Germany) for reasonable prices. They were fast, gave me good service and give very clear instructions on hoe to submit designs using free software.

If being UK based is important, a friend of mine got some cutting done.by the London school of art and design. I haven't used them (although prices compare favourably with Ponoko if you're a student) but my friend seemed happy.
