Looking for a decent (free) online site for viewing the World Cup. Past soccer games too.

The obvious answer is ESPN3.

You definitely need to state your location, in Canada the CBC is streaming matches live at this link.

Univision also has the games online.

ESPN3 has been great for me at work. When I'm not working hard, that is, which I do all the time. Except when I'm watching soccer.

Like inigo2 said, Univision. Works no matter your ISP (as far as I can tell) which is not the case for ESPN3.

Also doesn't matter if you can't really understand Spanish, because you can't hear the announcers over the effing horns anyway.

I've tested out CBC On Demand Videos using FoxyProxy (I live in the US). After the initial ad, the video just hangs. Haven't tried the live feed yet.

ESPN3 no longer works for me. They seem to have put a stop to it depending on your ISP. Time Warner is blocked, or something. I had to leave my house to watch the USA game and missed the first half cause I couldn't figure out what was wrong. Help!

Univision is the answer here. Soccer in Spanish is actually more exciting than otherwise.
