What's the whistling tune in the TIFF 2010 promo clip?

Help me identify the song in the promo clip for the 2010 edition Transilvania International Film Festival.
The clip is here. It's the whistling tune at the end (fades from the Star Wars Imperial March). Some people pointed out that it might be a cover of "Un albastru infinit" by Angela Similea, but I'm not wholly convinced.
It sounds like the theme for an old movie.
I have it on the tip of my tongue... maybe you can help me out?

Response by poster: I think I scratched my itch the other day, when I stumbled upon Mono - Life in Mono.
