pimp my home network

I found an (relatively) old usb adaptor in my basement. I no longer need it for basic wireless, but can i use it to make my home wireless networking really really cool?

this is the usb adaptor.

i'm on a mac, my partner is on a pc in the basement. we have a ps3 and both of us can stream media to there from our computers.

is there something cool that i could do with it, or should i just go sell it on craigslist?

You could build a Wifi Satellite Dish. Such items aren't just for connecting to other networks but can also be used to extend your own network.
