Ack - I lost my sunglasses just before I leave on vacation! Where should I go to find a selection of inexpensive (<$75) polarized men's sunglasses in Chicago?

Best answer: I usually go to an outdoor/camping store like REI (which has locations in Chicago). They usually have a bunch of inexpensive polarized sunglasses; that's all I ever wear.

Target usually has a few pairs that are polarized for 15-20 bucks. Bonus: When you inevitably sit on them or lose them, you're only out 20 bucks.

I go to the nearest gas station.

I have expensive shades. And I never wear them, preferring my $20 gas station shades.

You may want to take a look on TJ Maxx.

Best answer: Another plug for REI here, always have some fairly inexpensive quality sunglasses and sometimes -- closeouts, etc -- they are really a great deal. The REI 'house' brand, Peppers, has the best price, usually, the best bang for your buck, plus if you break them within a year of your purchase date, mail them to Peppers and they'll send you a brand new pair.

Thirding the peppers at rei. They're about $35 so you can get two pairs!

In a super pinch they have cheap polarized sunglasses at most airports I've been too. They're like $40 there when they would have bee 15-20 at Target, but I mean if time is ticking it's still in your budget.
