Name My Company

What should I call my company?

I'm starting a new career as an applied behavior analyst (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Applied_behavior_analysis). I need to have a title for my "company" even though I'm just a single person freelancing. Here are some thoughts:

I see behavior analysis as a form of environmentalism in the sense that we change the environment around the person - not the person. There's a good Skinner quote about that. My job is to do what I can to make a person's life as reinforcing (fulfilling/happy/etc.) as possible.

One of the current buzzwords is support. I'm a behavior support professional providing behavior supports by writing behavior support plans. I'm not interested in using that word but something similar would be nice.

My last name is Powers. I've used various puns like Powers to the People. In our family, cars had power steering or Powers steering.

I also think about behavior supports as a partnership between the client, the caregivers and me. I am not an instructor. I am a coach, partner, collaborator (in the good sense) and guide.

Hopefully, that gives you an idea of what I'm looking for. I'm excited to hear your suggestions.

Someone suggested to me the Igor Naming Guide when I asked a similar question-- it helped me immensely.

I'm curious whether this name needs to attract clients--e.g., will you be listed in the phone book under therapists or social workers or ???--or does it just need to make sense to third parties, such as referring professionals, insurance companies, vendors, etc. Anyway, some ideas:

Quality of Life Consulting
Change Management Associates
Behavior Specialists of [Your City]
Positive Valence
Applied Behavior Research and Practice
Practical Metamorphosis
Applied Behavior Systems
Applied Behavior Strategies
Personal Behavior Strategies
Personal Behavior Systems
Behavior Systems for Personal Growth
Behavior Strategies for Personal Growth
... for Personal Impact

Response by poster: Good questions and good suggestions. I have no need to attract clients or be in the phone book. There's a waiting list. I'm going to mull over your suggestions. Thanks!
