Help with Excel 2003... More inside:

My google fu and excel help skills can't help me much because I don't know the term I'm looking for. I don't even know how to best describe this but here it goes. In excel before I was able to use the arrow keys to move to the next cell. Now it just moves the screen but stays in the same cell. For example if you click on A1 and highlight it then press the right arrow it should move to B1. For me it doesn't, it moves the whole screen over a cell and A1 is still selected. My question is how can I get it so I can move from cell to cell with the arrow keys without the screen moving all over the place?

Best answer: Try pressing Scroll Lock.

Yeah, this just happened to me the other day. Scroll lock, on your keyboard between the Print Screen and Pause/Break keys. (Does the Pause/Break key ever do anything?)

If you're on a Mac, then I don't know, not sure their keyboards have such keys.

Does the Pause/Break key ever do anything?

Ctrl+Break ends runaway programs when debugging code, but I've never used it for anything else.

Does the Pause/Break key ever do anything?

It's what you press to get the login screen on a Bloomberg terminal ...can't think of anything else though.

Break also works for database programs (Access, SQL, etc) to stop runaway queries...
