GameFilter: Computer turned-based strategy game (one The Blue a while back?) in which you can recursively go back in time to change things...?

I wanna say it was sci-fi space battle genre and largely about force logistics, but I'm mostly interested in the recursive nature of the time iterations. Any other "time"-screwy game (or book, or show, or music-?!) recommendations appreciated... (But, of course, I told you that before I even wrote this, didn't I...!) ;)

Chrono Trigger is about time travel, fixing the past/future etc. Not a PC game but assuming you have the original or know where to get it this game is quite easy to run with an emulator and enjoy nevertheless.

In fact, I'm playing through it right now. Fantastic game.

Response by poster: Thanks, all. Achron (which I first thought was this old remade--and unrelated--gem) is it. I'll check out the others as well...
