Typing games and mouse learning games for grown-ups? Where to find these? How to make these?

Hi guys,
I'm looking for typing games and mouse-learning games for an older adult who is brand-spanking new to computers and having a hard time with it - using the mouse, typing, even just remembering things like, certain words are clickable links. He is on facebook but tells me things like "I don't know how to get back to that page with everyone on it". I'm looking for something that's like a fun game that will help with computer literacy somehow. Or at least a fun thing to do on the internet that's interesting without being taxing or confusing or childish. I'm not nearby this person so I can't give them in-person tutorials.

It seems like something I could do in Flash, but I've only made two Flash games and I don't know where to start thinking about how it should work or what it should do.
Any ideas?

Response by poster: I forgot to add, on our Mac Performa way back in the 90's there was a program that had a picture of an office and gave commands for you to do with the mouse - click the stapler, drag it to the desk. Click the papers, drag them to the garbage can.
Also I'm afraid that something like Mavis Beacon will have too many "navigational" tasks to get to the game parts that he can't remember.

I don't know if you saw this recent thread, but looks like you could find some good recommendations in it.

Response by poster: Oh gosh, I totally missed that. Great suggestions in there. However, my person does have internet, so I guess my question is slightly different.

This may be too rudimentary, but I volunteer with a seniors internet tutorial session at my university, and on day one of our program we bring up this.

It is a series of very basic mouse exercises, clicking, dragging, careful movement of the mouse. We have found it useful, especially with participants who are using a computer for the first time, or are still uncomfortable with some of the movements.
