How should I test sites in IE8 + Windows 7 on my XP Pro machine?

Microsoft's official stance on IE version testing has been to run the IE version you'd like in a Virtual PC and test.

That's been fine (if slow) up until now... I have a client experiencing problems in IE8 + Windows 7 only, and can't test since the Microsoft-provided test images don't include Win7:

Is there anything I can do?

I've used IE NetRender before with accurate results.

it does have IE8 but the Windows platform itself shouldn't make a difference, I think.

but here are a bunch of tools.
