What movies or documentaries about motorcycles would my boyfriend like? Details inside.
Things he's already seen that I know he likes:
On Any Sunday
World's Fastest Indian
Brittown
Choppertown
Easy Rider
Other factors:
He likes old Triumphs.
He pretty much hates most motorcycles post 1975.
He doesn't like Harleys even though he likes the movie Easy Rider.
He's not too much into BMWs either although he doesn't hate them.
Don't suggest Motorcycle Diaries.

Is Mad Max too obvious? When I had a motorcycle riding boyfriend, I swear he and his friends watched that movie Every Single Weekend, like for an entire summer.

If blogs count, the Vintagent will set him up for hours of browsing, and Otto Nero is worth sticking in Google Reader for quick easily digested and frequently updated (occasionally non-worksafe) bike pictures.
Oh, and Deus with its links page is bags of fun.

Well, it's not quite what you're looking for, but maybe you could get him the first season of the FX show "Sons of Anarchy".

Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman did a motorcycle journey from London to New York called Long Way Round and a followup project called Long Way Down (Scotland to South Africa) a while back. They're great travel documentaries if he's into that kinda thing. Though, they do it on new BMW bikes, FYI.

So... um... these are "B"... so "B" they made MST3k...
The Hellcats
The Side Hackers
Wild Rebels
And if he really hates modern bikes... he'll get a lot of mileage out of the hate he can feel towards the Knight-Rider-on-bike rip-off Warrior of the Lost World

If you can't find something here, I don't know where you will :)
The Castrol History of Motorcycle racing is superb.
My Dad rode a '56 Triumph T110C till the day before he died.

George Romero's Knightriders is pretty amazing, if memory serves. Ed Harris's first starring role in a movie, too.

The Top Gear episode where they rode through Vietnam on bikes. Their best one, imo. Quite beautiful, and humorous.
Thirding the Long Way Round/Down etc series.
I am the person least interested in bikes, and found the narratives created by their journeys, and their love (and hate) of their bikes, to be quite absorbing. Also, both of my suggestions have elements of "Boys' Own Adventures" woven into the narratives that I also find engaging. (I'm a girl, btw).
