How to search multiple sites at once

Is there a software/service that allows you to search specific websites rather than just through than the internet as a whole? I have a select list of sites I refer to weekly to find specific content. Any ideas?

Ideally, it would be a service that allows me search multiple keywords and even add new sites from CSV.

In Google, you can type "site:foo.com" (without the quotes) to limit your search to a particular site, like this: site:ask.metafilter.com how to search multiple sites

Response by poster: when I say multiple, I mean approx. 60 sites.

You can do this with yahoo pipes, or if the pages have RSS feeds throw those feeds into Google Reader in a single folder, then you can do a "folder search," That will automatically search through all 60.

You can get an RSS feed of the search as well.

If there are RSS feeds for these sites, a search using Google Reader would probably search your list once you manually subscribe to your sites.

"Multiple sites at once"; the OP's seeking something like:

software site:www.cnn.com,www.wsj.com
or maybe:
software site:www.cnn.com, www.wsj.com
or:
software site:"www.cnn.com, www.wsj.com"

which don't work.
