Wine & Fire?

Looking for an Austin-area restaurant or bar with an outdoor firepit. A decent winelist would be swell.

Short and sweet. Thanks all.

Joe DiMaggio's Italian Chop House, in the domain, has an outdoor fire pit, a decent wine list, and pricey (but not very good) food. Nice atmosphere, though.

Doesn't Torchy's have a fire pit? But that's probably not what you're looking for, if you want a place with a wine list.

The Hotel San Jose on South Congress has had a really nice fire pit when I have visited there in the winter. The cheese plate and some good wine and the fire was very nice.

Don't bother trying to learn anything from their crappy flash website though, it is one of the most unusable sites I have seen in a long time.

Corked on 6th (or maybe 7th) just east of 35 has an awesome wine list (it's a wine bar). I don't recall for certain if they have a fire pit, but they do have gas heaters and blankets (nice touch). They also have an awesome view of the skyline, and a very cozy interior if it gets too cold for you. I'm pretty sure they have fire, but you might want to call.

Seconding San Jose, and also Torchy's Trailer Park. The first suggestion is definitely fancier than the second.

I believe that Paggi House has a fire going at the outside bar during the winter. Good food and drink, too.

Wonderful atmosphere had out back at Botticelli's, on South Congress. Nice wine (and beer) list. I've only been on nights with live music, (usually lounge, laid back style) so I'm not sure if they have fire, but they do have heaters, and lovely twinkly lights, (which given enough wine is the same effect right?).
