Caged beast poem

Trying to track down a poem I remember reading at school.

It was set in a zoo and contrasted the majority of the animals who had given into their fate and just lazed in the sun with one creature (some sort of big cat, I think) that, to the writer of the poem, still seemed to be wild, pacing its cage, not surrendering to its situation. Google is failing me. (It's not the Panther by Rilke)
