Webcam recording softwrae

I need to record myself giving a presentation for school. My laptop has a built in webcam and microphone. What free Windows software would you recommend for this task?

Windows Movie Maker is a free app from Microsoft - it may be preinstalled, or is a free download. Googling tells me that it can capture video from a webcam.

Give a try to Camtasia Studio , free trial available.

Few videos I could find are here and here

I would certainly do a rehearsal before using it for actual task.

If perchance it's a Dell, the Dell Webcam Center works great for that. If not a Dell, I'm sure there is some pre-installed suite that came with your laptop that has this feature without needing to d/l new software.
