Alternatives to Mechanical Turk

I would like to perform some basic T Shirt related market research. Ideally send a basic survey to a large number of people who will hopefully respond. Funds are limited. Amazon's Mechanical Turk would be perfect but it is not available in the UK. What are my other options?

Best answer: Check out elance.com, guru.com, odesk.com.

I do freelance work at secretarystudio.atspace.com, if interested.

Best answer: I fill out surveys for Valued Opinions whenever I'm bored and fancy earning 25p towards a £10 Amazon voucher or whatever.

Response by poster:
My original question was fairly vague. I have the survey prepared, I am essentially looking for survey candidates. Normal people who are outside my circle of friends (rules out social media unfortunately).
I looked at the Valued Opinions service but I could not see an option to submit a survey.

However the freelance sites have been very useful and I may end up hiring a professional to collate and compile the results
I also came across People Per Hour which seems to be a UK centric freelance website.

The suggestions have been great so far and I am starting to think I may need to approach this from a different angle.

I don't mean to be flippant.
Is there any reason why you can't post it here?

It's not really okay to use AskMe/Mefi as a survey platform, n o i s e s, so errspy shouldn't do that, regardless of whether they're inclined to or not.
