MusicFilter: finding a specific Christmas song

I am trying to track down a Christmas song I've heard about. It is called something like "Zooma The Santa Claus from Mars". Googling and allmusic'ing have turned up nothing. Have any of you heard this? I'd love to know who performs it, or just confirmation that my friend isn't playing a joke on me.

The words "Christmas" and "Mars" in the same sentence remind me instantly of The Flaming Lips. Click the Film link in the top right to read about their project Christmas on Mars, or look for any of their Christmas songs. The most likely candidate, I think, is "Christmas At The Zoo", but also try the more recent "A Change At Christmas (Say It Isn't So)".

Maybe?

Do you mean "Hooray for Santy Claus," the theme song to the fine, fine film Santa Claus Conquers the Martians?

The 45 it was on is "I Like Christmas", from 1956/57.
MGM Rec# K-12367

One is available here, but the seller doesn't have a very good reputation.

Flipside Records in Hermitage, PA seems to have two 45s in stock, but no pricing info. You'd need to email/call them about it. Search for "Barry Gordon" on the flipside link for their item numbers.

Last post, promise - eBay has it here, for $7.45 shipped, but only for ~7 more hours.

Otherwise, if you have Usenet access, you might keep an eye on alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.christmas, as two Barry Gordon Christmas tunes have been posted already. Not that I'm advocating bypassing copyright law for a 47-year-old song only put out as a promo LP, mind you.
