please tell there is an alternative to Future Shop...

Anyone know where I can get an HDMI cable in Montreal for under $30?

I really don't want to pay Future Shop or Canadian Tire $30 for what I know is a $10 HDMI cable. Does anyone know a brick and mortar shop in Montreal that fits the bill? (Yes, I know I can get it for cheaper online but my new TV is getting here TODAY!)

thanks

You can try Microbytes or The Source (formerly radio Shack), that's where I go for cheap accessories when I don't have time to order from newegg.ca.

Microbytes is also a great place to get a computer built to spec cheap and with good support.

Best answer: You can generally use your old, low tech cables with new TV's. At least for the few days it'll take to order a cheap one online.

In the US, the Apple Store is usually your best bet. Still overpriced, but less so.

Best answer: Now that you are willing to go online, look at monoprice as well. For short cables the extra shipping may not be worth it. If you ever need long cables, it's less than $1 per foot.
