How to get rid of GameVance?

Unfortunately, I inadvertently allowed an adware app called GameVance to be installed on my computer. It's driving me crazy and it won't allow mw to delete it. Can anyone help me remove this advertising menace?

Have you tried SpyBot and AdAware? They're free, and surely one of them will have this particular nasty thing in its databases.

Best answer: What happens when you try to follow GameVance's removal instructions?

These instructions
(the text steps, not the download) might be worth a try as well.

Revo Uninstaller has worked for me every time.

Spybot and Adware have major limitations when it comes to the truly nasty stuff. Game instructions are probably crap.

Revo Uninstaller might not work for you this time, but it is free and worth a try.

Try MalwareBytes Anti-Malware.

Response by poster: I feel so silly! I should have looked for removal instructions, but it never occured to me that they'd be so accommodating about removing it. It worked. Thanks to all for your suggestions.
