Is there a way to sort by blank or null id3 fields in iTunes?

If the field can be a column within iTunes, then activate that column to be viewed, click on that column to make it the one by which the list is sorted, and then scroll to the bottom (or look at the top depending on which direction the sort is going.) All the songs with that field blank should be together.

I'm not sure which fields you want to look through, but I think the easiest way would probably to create a new Smart Playlist and set the condition to [Field] [is] []. So just pick the field you want (for instance Arist, or Album, or whatever), set the contains/does not contain/is/etc drop-down to is and leave the last field blank and click on OK.
