Help me manually manage my Iphone...

My Macbook, with which I synced my iPhone, is in the shop for repairs. Meanwhile, I have iTunes on my eee PC. I've authorized this computer with iTunes and want to manually put new music purchases (made on the netbook) on my iPhone, without erasing all of the other music already on my iPhone (from syncing it with the Mac). iTunes doesn't like this--a little help?

I thought I remembered doing this before with my iPod--I had two authorized computers, and could manually manage the iPod without erasing songs, already on the iPod, that weren't on the second computer. Is this not actually doable? I thought manual management allowed this? Would I have to get some other kind of software?

Thanks.

This probably isn't your best solution, but if your music is DRM-free or you choose to strip it, you can use MediaMonkey to manage your library and sync to your iPhone.

^without deleting the music currently on it.

This is probably what you want.

if you don't feel like opening up a hex editor, you can use software like SciFiHiFi's PodWorks or Ecamm Network's PhoneView to transfer the music off of the phone and into your PC's iTunes library (playlists included). then, you can turn on the "manually manage" option and use iTunes to sync your stuff back on it. I've done this a few times, with both programs, after either screwing up my iTunes library or using my iPhone to keep work and home computers synced. (fwiw, PhoneView also allows you to grab out SMS messages and call logs and all sorts of other stuff - it's pretty neat. if you have other iPods, PodWorks is a bit nicer.)
