Best wireless headphones for TV?

I want wireless headphones that have an adapter I can plug into my TV's audio-out jack. I don't want IR/line-of-sight, but the range doesn't need to be more than 10 meters or so.

I don't care if they're Bluetooth or some proprietary format; I just want ones that work well for watching TV in my house. If they're < $100 that would be preferable, and smaller is better (though most seem fairly bulky due to the built-in battery).

Alternatively, if there's some good Bluetooth audio adapter I can plug into my TV's audio-out I could just use Bluetooth headphones...but having had 2 pairs of those I'm not very satisfied with their performance, pairing, etc.

Sorry here is an actual link and they are both small and light.

I know the nerds all hate Sony for some strange reason, but they make good ones. Try B&H in NYC.

At casa Scarlett, we have gone through a myriad of wireless headphones - before buying each I had read reviews, tested friends' headphones, the whole shabang...

We currently have Sennheiser model RS 146. They are on the higher end, both performance and price-wise, however...not a single other wireless set had performed for us as desired.

As reluctant as we were to invest so much, it was worth it for us, considering the volume of use (loud video games, different sleep schedules, etc.)

RE: bluetooth - I have not had very good experiences with bluetooth headsets for stereo use. Radio frequency is the way to go, until the tech has improved.

I have the cheaper Sennheiser RS120 wireless headphones, and at $62, they're a steal. They're great for watching tv and movies and playing videogames, but there's just a tiny bit of noise to them, which makes listening to music slightly annoying. That said, they're a great deal.

Another vote for the Sennheiser RS120 -- I love mine and use them every time I watch TV. Downsides are (a) a minor amount of hiss and (b) they can get a little uncomfortable after an hour or two. But for my purposes the sound quality is more than adequate, the recharging system works perfectly, and they've got really surprisingly good range -- I can go everywhere in my apartment, out on the deck, and down the front stairs to my car without losing signal.

Count me in as another happy owner of the Sennheiser RS120. I don't have any problems with the hiss that Kat Allison and Oktober describe, as in I've never heard any. Kind of odd, that, as I've always been told I'm really picky about my audio. Maybe my hearing isn't what I thought! At any rate, the sound quality is definitely "good enough", and the range well exceeds your requirements.
