Pittsburgh Piano Teacher Wanted

Where can I find reasonably priced piano lessons in Pittsburgh (Squirrel Hill) for adult beginners?
I'm in my early 30s and want to learn to play the piano. I don't play any other instruments, but am able to recognize notes. Suggestions?

Craigslist? Perhaps if you make a post, you could attract any number of people earning degrees in music at CMU or elsewhere to hone their teaching skills. I have seen people advertising this type of arrangement in the past on Pgh's CL.

A good friend of mine speaks very highly of the City Music Center that is part of Duqesne University. Similar in age to you, he wanted to learn trumpet without any prior musical training. They have piano as well as an adult option. (Looking at the fee schedule, I'm not sure what's reasonable and what isn't.)

I was in a similar situation, and really wanted to learn to play, mostly to understand music & musical theory.
Found a pro teacher amongst my friends, who love Love LOVED the idea of teaching someone who really wanted to know the book stuff, too. I got everything I hoped for out of them, before I had to move to CT for a new job.
Email me for contact info, if you'd like.
