What genre of music is in the background of this video? Post-rock? Electronica? Can you recommend more music like it?

IDM possibly?

I doubt there's many artists that specifically deal in music like that, but will have the occasional song with a similar feel.

One track that came to mind listening to that is 'Something for Windy' by Bonobo. Other artists that may be worth looking into are Blockhead and Four Tet,

I'm not very good with labels/genres; but here are some artists I can recommend (myspace links):

Remember Remember

Four Tet
Múm

Also, check out Boards of Canada.

Of course, try last.fm's similar artist radio to find more.

I like this kind of stuff, too. For some reason, loop-based music with organic samples really suits me when it's cloudy out.

Silje Nes
bell orchestre
the dead texan
jan jelinek
twi the humble feather (though it's a stretch)
Eluvium

I've seen this style of music referred to as "folktronica".

Response by poster: Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone. I've got a lot of music listening to do!

I gotta say that this music felt to me like a studio-cooked fake of something like Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Californication". Which is, technically, funk. YMMV.
