Walks like Sigur Rós, talks like Sigur Rós, but ain't Sigur Rós.

Help me id a piece of music from the Skins Season 2 DVD.

I recently watched season 2 of Skins on DVD and I'm looking for a piece of music from episode 4 (Michelle). It's the scene with Sid and Michelle on the beach, in the original tv broadcast the song used for was Untitled 3 (Samskeyti) by Sigur Rós.

Due to licensing issues there's a lot of different tracks on the DVD release and I quite liked the replacement, unfortunately I wasn't able to find out what it is called, my research on several Skins forums and Google came up with nothing.

Here's the tune in question on YouTube

It is sigur ros.

I think "untitled" is used literally.. as in there isn't a name.

It's not a released song titled "Untitled"

I'm 99% sure.

None of the other songs from the tracklist sound close.

Here is the tracklist: Note that there are two untitled songs by sigur ros.

Tony sings Mousse T's Horny
Sigur Ros - Untitled
Gravenhurst Hollow Man
Klezma Villanova - Dancing Bear
Electrelane - At Sea
Beach House Auburn and Ivory
Henry Mancini Lujon
Pavement Rope and Carrot
Electrelane - In Berlin
Arcade Fire Keep The Car Running
Animal Collective Fireworks
Beach House - House on the Hill
Battles Atlas
Scarlett and Sketch If youre not the one
Beach House - Childhood
Sigur Ros - Untitled
XTC Stupidly Happy
The Stranglers Skins Deep

Response by poster: That's the track listing from the tv broadcast, there's other songs on it that weren't used for the DVD version either, for example Keep the Car Running.
Regarding the naming of the Sigur Ros tracks: All the tracks on the album ( ) were named "Untitled" upon release, however the band later published other titles on their website. The track is definitely not from that album.

The posting on the forum you linked in the second reply refers to the tv broadcast too and also is for the wrong episode, I've pretty much read through every related thread on that forum and all I could find were one or two questions for the DVD song with no answers.

Best answer: My suspicion, based upon this comment by Jamie Brittain w/r/t the first DVD, is that the replacement music was either commissioned by the producers or nabbed from a library of soundalikes, and isn't likely to be available commercially. (Rescue Records is one of the big suppliers for the US networks.) I may know people who know more, and will update if I learn more.
