All i'm looking for in this bright city (NYC) is a room with a drum

After a long injury timeout I want to dive back into some musicmaking. I'm looking for a no-frills practice room in NYC that rents cheap by the hour and has a drumset. Google provides a lot of results, but can the hive point to some good ones?
If it's just you playing, a small room appears to run about $17-18 during the week and $24-26 nights and weekends. According to their site, "one low "All Inclusive" hourly rate includes your studio, the finest sound system, many hi-end and hand wired boutique guitar amps, the ultimate bass amp setup, awesome drums, fantastic keyboards and even free recording of your rehearsal."

NYC Performing Arts Spaces is a directory for music and arts spaces -- you can sort and filter hundreds of studio rental listings by amenities, location, price, etc. Rooms with drum sets are denoted by a 'percussion' icon.

Best answer: Funkadelic on 26th Street has a good vibe and is relatively cheap.

Seconding Funkadelic. Definitely no-frills, but it's run by nice guys and it's cheap.
