There was a talking cactus, too

[Embarrassingly-revealing-name-that-book Filter] Does anyone remember this historical-fiction shonen-ai manga from the early 90's?
In 1995, I was given two volumes of a girl's comic with this premise: random figures from Japanese history, most (all?) of whom died horribly violent deaths in real life, are actually immortal and living under assumed names in modern Japan. Amakusa Shiro Tokisada (blond) was the main guy. He was pursued by a frisky Oda Nobunaga (brunette). I want to say that there were two Tokugawa's involved (Ieyasu was definitely in the mix). Yaoya Oshichi (blonde) was the only female member of this club and her modern name was Nana (duh), but hers is the only assumed name I remember.
Is any of this ringing a bell? I thought it would be easy to google, since I remembered so many of the names, but instead it seems to making it harder. Unfortunately, I don't remember the title, author, publisher, the characters' assumed names, or the name of the plucky modern teen (orphan?) who unites them all. I have surprisingly fond memories of this comic and would really love to find it again! If anyone knows what I am talking about, that would be great, but if not, any tips on how to find out more about the series would also be appreciated.
p.s. Bonus obscure comic: alternately, does anyone remember the (also Japanese) series featuring a girl who can't touch people when she's on her period because she will involuntarily give them a powerful electric shock?

Response by poster: Hmm, thanks for the answers, but, sadly, neither of these are the one I'm thinking of. If it helps, the style of the comc I'm thinking of was really simple and kind of goofy.

The thing that really rings a bell is the talking cactus in your title. From the wiki page: "Hisoka's first Shikigami is a Spanish-speaking potted cactus named Riko, a defensive and water-type Shiki."
