Uses for old t-shirts?

I've got several cool old t-shirts that are too small for me now, but that I'd like to use for something. So far the only idea I could come up with was pillows. Any suggestions?
There's a great set of instructions for a duvet cover made of old tshirts in the latest Budget Living. I'm actually going to make one myself.

lampshade, or frame and hang them, or cover a treasure box with them, or if you have a lot, cut them up and make a quilt. Readymade has pillow instructions tho

Shane asked this q a few months ago (his was about tshirts that you didn't wear anymore but didn't want to throw out) - search that thread for some great answers.

How about a quilt? My wife has taken up quilting over the past several years, and recycles all kinds of fabrics into her creations.

Sell them to a thrift store and before long lots of horn-rimmed hipsters will be wearing them all over town.

You could make a cool wall-hanging. Sew each T-shirt to a square or rectangle, but before sewing the T-shirt all the way down, stuff it a little with cotton batting to give it a 3D look. Then sew the squares together, perhaps with a lattice work of contrasting strips. Finish with two or three different fabrics to frame the entire piece.
