What is better? Macs or PCs?

Please tell me what you think is better and why.
I know many of you may say that Macs are good for some people, and PCs are good for some people. But I want you to answer in general, what is better. Consider hardware, software, OS, etc. Thanks!

Chatfilter. You should REALLY narrow this question ... it's too wide open to be useful as is. Are you thinking of getting a computer? What do you want to use your computer for? Etc.

If you ever want to get laid, or get the truck with more horsepower, get a Chevy. Otherwise, get a ford if you're square.

Repeat ad nauseaum. Same for Mac vs. PC.

Me? I'd say: MACINTOSH!!!!

I've been a PC guy my entire life and last year I switched to Mac. Overall I'm really happy, I'm using the white Mac Book and I think the main benefit is I really prefer using Mac OS over Windows. It's way more intuitive, a lot more dragging and dropping. Everyone says there are compatability issues but for the stuff I do (music, word processing, web surfing, all basic stuff) I've never really run into any issues. One thing that irks me about Apple though is all their accessories are way over priced, I lost my power adapter and the OEM adapter costs like 80$. They are also pretty pricey, a similar spec PC notebook would have cost me about 400$ less than my macbook. As far as compatability goes I'm not a computer wizard, if I need a program I just add "mac" to the end of all my google searches and so far haven't really run into any problems. Even though I'm happy with Mac I think my next computer will be a PC, mainly just because of cost.

I've been a PC guy my whole life. I tried a Mac recently for about a month, and I just couldn't get into it.

Now I use Linux and life is great.
