What is this French film?

What film is this? It is a french film where the bearded protagonist drives around a French lake in a little boat. He runs into his ex girlfriend who is staying with a family, and they reminisce. It is a great movie.

Best answer: I am guessing Le Genou de Claire or Claire's Knee. It has been awhile since my last Eric Rohmer binge but that sounds like the one you are talking about.
