Where can I find Emu Bitter beer for my grandparents?

Where can I buy Emu Bitter beer in the US? It's made by Nathan Lion, the same brewery that makes Steinlager. I'm willing to drive anywhere in AZ, NH, or NE, although I would prefer mail order delivery.

This beer is for my Grandma and Grandpa. It is the only beer my Grandma has ever liked, and she hasn't had a bottle of it since she visited Australia 15 years ago.

Thank you for your help.

The Beer Advocate page for Emu Bitter (login required?) does not give me much hope for your ability to find it in the states. I'll inquire at my local beer shop if they know anything.

Arizona, New Hampshire or Nebraska? Or did you mean something else?

Perhaps he meant Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico?

Response by poster: I meant Arizona, New Hampshire, and Nebraska. I'm currently visiting Arizona. My grandparents live in Nebraska, and I live in New Hampshire.

Thank you knile for asking around. Let me know if you get any hot leads!

Is there any service where I could find an Australian to ship the beer to the states?

Lion Nathan's authorized distributor in the United States is High Falls, which only lists two of L.N.'s brews in its portfolio: Toohey's and Steinlager. So it's not officially available in the United States at all, barring greymarket imports or somebody flying in from western Australia with extra room in their luggage.

You can try High Falls' contact page to try reaching somebody by email, or try reaching somebody by phone at the High Falls contact info provided by Lion Nathan's website.

Best answer: I'm in Melbourne, Australia and am fairly sure I can easily buy Emu Bitter at most bottleshops. Feel free to get in touch if you want me to send some over to you ...

Emu Bitter? Dear God, I cannot think of a worse Australian beer (and Australia make a LOT of very bad beer!)
