collection of memorable lines/paragraphs in english literature?

I'm trying to find blogs/websites/books highlighting the most recognizable/memorable/famous passages from contemporary as well as historical fiction. google is throwing a heap of gunk at me but few quality results. any suggestions?

I always like ThinkExist for quotes. Though its for all quotes and not just literature.

Best answer: 100 best first lines from novels.

Bartleby.com has a section for quotations. They're books converted into a web-friendly format, and they're edited better and have higher standards than anything else on the web that I know about.

The Oxford Dictionary of Quotations is the one that springs to mind - it's probably quite British-oriented but fairly comprehensive.
