Looking for graphics for an art project

I am trying to find inspiration graphics for a piece I want to create. I know I have seen what I am looking for sometime in my life. The piece I am creating is for a mythical toy that is a disc shaped flying object. I want to make it in the guise of a 1930's or 1940's advertisement. A boys face in wonder A splashy graphical font across the top The disc "comin' at ya" with wind sweeps trailing back All in bold primary colors. I have scoured the web for some source material, but keep coming up empty handed. Any pointers would be appreciated. Henry

Are you sure the decades are right? Not '50s or '60s?

And: can you name some toys from that era that would be similar? That might be a good way to generate ideas and/or search suggestions.

What kinds of searches have you tried so far?

This is just a Google image search for 'vintage frisbee ad,' but there might be some good things in there.

The first issue of 200AD - it's not 30s, but it might kick start something.

Response by poster: Great replies, I am so surprised I did not see much of this after extensive googling. Thanks to all.
