First-time travellers to Mexico need some advice.

We will be in the city of Chihuahua (or roundabouts) for Dias de los Muertos. We're wondering if the festivities will be better in the city, or if there is a smaller town within an hour or two's travel that would be better? Beyond that, are there any don't-miss sights, experiences, or eateries you'd care to recommend?

Best answer: It's not as big a deal in the North as in central Mexico. I would think being in the city would be better up North since it tends to be more of a family affair.
