Rock star themed potluck

Costume / recipe conundrum: We're hosting a rock star themed potluck near Halloween. The dishes we supply need to be in a theme that corresponds to the costume. We need help!
So we're trying to continue a potluck tradition with a group of friends. The last one was a success (theme: anything on a stick). This time we're going to play Rock Band and theme the potluck around rock stars costumes and dishes that go along with that. We need idea for me and for my wife. We're both larger people, and I've got a goatee that I'm not willing to shave off for this. Really, I don't think it has to be too fussy about being on topic, as long as the costume is music related, and the food is at least related to the costume via a pun.
Ideas I've thought of so far for myself:
- Meat Loaf (where am I going to find a frilly shirt in my size?)
- Chuck Berry (I could use either beef chuck or berries). I would look terrible.
- James Brown (brownies!)
- Chef from South Park (salty chocolate balls!)
I'm stumped for my wife. Any other ideas that are going to make us seem super-cool or at least funny?

The idea of dressing as Ozzy and providing a bat shaped cake is making me giggle:)

I'm glad someone else went there...
What about Janis Joplin, and you could bring some sort of Southern Comfort cake?

You could be Elvis and serve peanut-butter-and-banana sandwiches.
For your wife, maybe she could be Janis Joplin and serve Southern Comfort? Or she could be Britney Spears and serve Cheetos.

Response by poster: I had been thinking about Elvis's peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwiches... I think there's a recipe book out there that his cook made. But then I'd have to dress like Elvis.
I admit the cheetos made me laugh...

You could be Jake Blues (of the Blues Brothers) and bring soul food. Or something blue. That's also a pretty cool, easy-to-find costume, and instantly recognizable with sunglasses.

W/r/t frilly shirts: dude, renfair clothing. Just google around for renaissance or medieval shirts and trust me: no matter how big you are, there is someone selling turkey legs that is bigger.

The Magic Numbers(GIS) aren't exactly lightweights, and they have male and female band members, but they might not be rockin' enough, either. Think The Mamas and the Papas. Also, I'm not sure what kind of food you would bring. Maybe this isn't a very good suggestion after all, but maybe you can work with it?

Either one of you could be the lunch lady from the Lunch Lady Land SNL skit with Chris Farley and serve: sloppy joes, hoagies and grinders, navy beans, etc.

I was gonna go with Frank Zappa's 'Burnt Weeny Sandwich', close to Alison's suggestion, but since that's taken....
You could do great Fred Schneider and either Cindy or Kate combo as B-52's, but then I can't think of anything good to bring other than lobster, which could be a little expensive.
Or DLR and Eddie as classic Van Halen. Not only could a girl look cute as either, but you could cheap out by bringing only brown M&Ms.

That would actually be,"Four fried chickens. And a Coke."

Coming late to the party, but I'll throw this out there anyway:
Maybe you and your wife could go as Sparks (you could go as Ron and she could go as Russell) and you could bring something with pineapple in it?
The Ron costume would be surprisingly easy, FWIW.
