I bought a 20" G5 iMAC two or three weeks ago, and now Apple has just released the new Intel based iMACs for the same price. They annoyingly brag that they're 3 times as fast. Is it worth it for me to try to return it and get one of the newer models?

CryptographyFilter: I'm an obsessive journaler, partly because I enjoy writing ideas etc down in my journals, partly because I have a terrible memory. Every now and then I would like to be able to record something in my journal that I wouldn't want to be read by someone who was less respectful of my privacy than I would hope them to be, or by someone who picked up one of my journals (which always have my contact details in the front) should I misplace one.

I'm looking for tales about the dark side of Hollywood, showbiz, and the gossip/tabloid industry. I've read "Day of the Locust" and "The Mailroom: Hollywood History from the Bottom Up", seen "All About Eve" and "Sweet Smell of Success" and "Showgirls", am halfway through Julia Phillips' "You'll Never Eat Lunch In This Town Again", and am planning on reading Joe Eszterhas' "Hollywood Animal: A Memoir". I'm not looking for gossip, per se, as much as I am looking for explorations, whether first-hand or fictional, of how screwed up the cult of celebrity is. Suggestions for books, movies, musicals, blogs, or whatever would be welcomed.

I am looking for a webcam to use with mac osx(10.4.3). I travel quite a lot and I want to see our new baby from the road. I would like to be able to pan/tilt and poss zoom. Where can I go online? What software should I be getting? What camera? I know this can't be too complicated, I find myself having a hard time. Maybe it is the sleep deprivation cause by our newborn. Audiofilter: So, I'm narrating a book and recording it digitally for someone as a Christmas present. (The individual reads AskMe, hence the anon question.) There's about 10 hours of material.
