Massive conspiracy or Olympic peace?

What news am I missing at the Olympics - what has been covered up or ignored by the Chinese regulators providing the video feed to NBC etc? I have to imagine there have been some outbursts or protests and the Chinese are not letting the media cover it (at least on live TV). Is there a good site noting these occurrences, or have the games just gone off nearly flawlessly? (excepting the drum tower murder last week.)

This is a reasonable question, but don't place too much faith in the response. Thinking logically, anything they successfully covered up or silenced would never be found out by you. So really there's no way of knowing, by definition.

Response by poster: Here's an interesting article from the NYT: "Protests are not illegal in China, but they require government approval, a prospect that often dissuades citizens, daunted by excessive bureaucracy or potential retaliation. Posters and slogans must be submitted to the police, and each participant must apply in person. Any rally deemed a threat to “social stability and public order” can be denied permission, and most are."
