How to get mail BCC'd to me to show up on my phone.

My Blackberry (8703e, OS 4.2, Sprint, BIS) cannot receive email BCC'd to me. This is apparently because, while I have set up my Embarq mail to forward everything sent to me in the To: box and the CC: box, there is no option to set a filter to tell Embarq to send all BCC: mail to my @sprint.blackberry.net address so it will show up on my phone. Is there any kind of workaround for this?

Best answer: Mail Bcc'ed to you isn't really special - the only thing that makes it different is that you aren't in either the To or Cc boxes. It sounds like you want to forward everything with you in the To, everything with you in the Cc, and everything with you not in the To or Cc - that is, all your mail. Can you set up your Embarq mail to forward everything unconditionally? Failing that, you might be able to use a filter like "From contains a dot" to catch everything.

Response by poster: @pocams: That actually works well. I just set it to forward everything that has a @ in the "From" address to my Blackberry, and all is good.

Embarq has an option to forward all e-mail, and it is so flaky and unreliable, that their own tech support told me to do all my forwarding by rules, which is how I got in this mess to begin with,

Thanks again.
