Easy Reader goes blue, Lucinda turns to the green

Question about Morgan Freeman (spoilers for Wanted inside).

One of the parts that got the biggest audience reaction was Morgan Freeman yelling "SHOOT THIS MOTHERFUCKER!" at the end of the movie. I've seen several movie reviews that also bring up this as a highlight of the film, leading me to think that he's never used profanity in a film before. Has he?

Yeah he has. I didnt feel like searching through the entire IMDB for quotes, but I came up with the at least passing use of "shit" in Unforgiven, for example.

I don't think it was a reaction to Morgan Freeman's outburst but rather his character's outburst. Throughout the movie, the character was portrayed as a calm, cool, gentlemanly almost-father figure who speaks softly. At the end, he's just yelling out of frustration at his seemingly-inferior team.

He was pretty blue in Street Smart as Fast Black, back in '87.
